RimWorld Comics
RimWorld is a PC game by Tynan Sylvester. It's a sci-fi colony building game with a heavy slant towards storytelling. I recommend it highly! The game's storytelling and character building made it so ripe for comics that I couldn't help myself! These comics started when the game was still in Alpha, so some of the jokes no longer apply to the full release game. They'll remain on the site as a testament to where RimWorld has come from (and poke fun at some of the wonky mechanics However, I've found that the stories that come from RimWorld can be both hilarious and sad, which are two emotional responses I'm comfortable trying to evoke.)
I guess the bottom line is that if you play RimWorld, you will probably love these comics! If you don't, they might be a bit confusing... NOTE: As of January 2020, these comics are no longer being updated. You may still read all 260+ of them at their archive site, www.rimworldcomics.com, however. |
